Should the U.S. Senate leadership follow Tennessee's lead?

Just a few weeks ago, Republicans in the Tennessee House of Representatives stood on principle and ousted a disloyal member, costing them the majority (the first majority since 1869)

Should the U.S. Senate do the same with its members? I recommend the immediate ejection of Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins from the Republican Party and to publicly rebuke Arlen Spector with the promise of ejection, should he ever break ranks again in such an important vote (of which there will be many in the coming months & years).
